There are two deposit settings so you can set the deposits for NORMAL, NEAR TERM and EXCEPTIONAL PERIOD bookings to different values.

You define these under SETTINGS -> PROPERTIES -> BOOKING RULES

Confirm with Deposit collection 1 - via payment gateway : Set the amount of deposit to collect immediately to your account. Confirm with Deposit collection 2 - via payment gateway : Set the amount of deposit to collect immediately to your account.

Select a percentage of the total booking or the value of the first night.

Alternatively set a fixed amount to collect. If you set both a fixed amount and a percentage, they will be added together when calculating the deposit amount.
